General ideas
I try to only select the most relevant experiences in my resume. Under each experience, I try to explain what relevant skills I have learned from it, and emphasize that I think most of my previous projects have been great. I am pretty open with what kinds of experiences I choose to add as ‘Other experiences’, but everything from selling a product during a summer, to have started a youtube channel or anything else, may be relevant for the application.

I usually prepare a few potential references that could recommend me to the employer I am applying to. The best is if the sources are complementary and come from a variety of organizations.
