I am Elias, a 27-years-old eocnomist and bussiness economist from Sweden, but I alternate living in Spain, Colombia, and Sweden. My main occupation is running my educational platform StuderaEkonomi, where I am the sole owner and work as a private teacher in business & economics. I also work on establishing several other startups. I am always open for new opportunities to collaborate with other driven people.

After completing my university studies in the summer of 2023, I started a business to help other economics students with their university courses through private online lectures. Since then, I have been working full-time with StuderaEkonomi, helping over 250 reoccuring students and delivering more than 3000 hours worth of classes. StuderaEkonomi has since expanded and now have eight teachers and extensive digital solutions for self-studies.
So far, I have managed everything myself; product development, website development, booking & payment systems, digital marketing, CRM management, accounting, marketing events, managing & tutoring teachers, and more. My ambition is to gradually relieve my tutoring work in order to give me time to grow the company further and engage in new startups.

A conventional Master’s program in Economics with additional weight on Microeconomics and Behavioral Economics. I chose to write my Master’s thesis independently and conducted an experimental quantitative study on the effects of social media on people’s decision-making and well-being through reference points. I was among the top-performing students at one of Sweden’s leading universities.
BSc in Business Administration

A conventional Bachelor’s program in Business Administration, with a specialization in Management. My Bachelor’s thesis was a qualitative study on decision-making efficiency in flat organizations. I received the highest possible grades in most courses, often with a great margin.

During my third year of study, I chose to pursue two university programs simultaneously in order to earn Bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Business Administration. Despite this, I achieved top grades in most courses and have never failed an examination. My Bachelor’s thesis was a quantitative study on the economic effects of an aging population in Sweden.

During my final university semester, I moved to Barcelona and worked temporarily with selling and managing Google Ads campaigns for companies through video meetings and phone calls. I completed educations and obtained certifications in Google Ads. I left after a short period as my own business was growing quickly and required my full focus.
Football Referee & Instructor

I worked as a football referee for over 10 years and officiated more than 1 000 official matches, mostly in the lower and mid-level divisions of Swedish senior football. I also served as a referee instructor, tutoring hundreds of new referees. I refereed in the men’s Division 2 and the women’s Elitettan, and futsal in the second highest men’s division and the top women’s division.
For me, refereeing was the ideal extra job. It taught me independence and responsibility from an early age, developed my social maturity and leadership skills, and gave me physical exercise like a professional athlete for 10 years. I stopped refereeing when I moved to Barcelona in early 2023.

I worked as a door-to-door salesperson for Viasat, where my task was to visit people and cold-sell TV and internet subscriptions in their homes. I performed well and enjoy working on commission-based contracts, but left after a short period to begin my studies and focus on my career as a football referee.

After graduating from upper secondary school, I started working as a store assistant at ICA. Over time, my responsibilities gradually increased. Other experiences
Think tank
During my university studies, I founded a small think tank that published articles and podcast episodes about economics and ideology, reaching a few thousand readers and listeners. Through my work with the think tank, I learned the basics of web development and digital marketing.
Writing Course
While running my think tank, I completed a writing program organized by Timbro, where I spent two months writing numerous articles and receiving continuous feedback from experienced journalists. One of my articles was published in their annual edition.

Before starting my university studies, I ran a small business that helped job seekers find employment through career coaching. I had a few clients, but the project was eventually deprioritized due to my studies and refereeing career. Through this experience, I learned the basics of marketing, accounting, and entrepreneurship in practice.
